AusGroup announces an organisational change

The Chairman of AusGroup Limited announced today that Mr James Finbarr Fitzgerald (“Jim”), who is currently, a Non-executive Director, will retire from this role at the Group’s next Annual General Meeting. 

“I want to sincerely thank Jim for his immeasurable contribution to the company. Over 20 years back, Jim founded Ausclad Industries Pty Ltd which today has transcended into the listed entity AusGroup. He was the visionary in helping the company evolve. He relentlessly shared and passed on his invaluable practical knowledge of the business to all those who worked with him over the years. It is an honour for the company to have benefitted from his leadership and guidance. AusGroup greatly owes its success to him.

Jim commented that it is time to pass the baton to a highly competent and experienced leader to bring the company to greater heights. Jim added “AusGroup has a great future  and under the capable leadership of John Sheridan, I am confident that the company will  grow from strength to strength.” On his personal plan, he is looking forward to the challenges ahead of him in his new career and wishes the very best to AusGroup for the future.
