Closure of a Dormant Subsidiary

Ausgroup Limited (the “Company”) (Incorporated in the Republic of Singapore)
 

The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary in Singapore, AGL Cactus Pte. Ltd. (“the Subsidiary”), was placed under member’s voluntary liquidation on 30 June 2011.

The Subsidiary has been inactive for a number of years. The liquidation of the Subsidiary is not expected to have any material impact on the net tangible assets and earnings per share of the Company for the year ended 30 June 2011 and the year ending 30 June 2012.

Mr Lee Kay Beng of 7500A Beach Road #16-321, The Plaza, Singapore 199591 was appointed the Liquidator of the Subsidiary.

None of the Directors or the substantial shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect in the transaction.
