AusGroup Receives Alcoa Letter of Intent

AusGroup Limited subsidiary, AGC Industries Pty Ltd (‘AGC’), a leading Australian based fabrication, construction and integrated services company, has received a Letter of Intent from Alcoa of Australia Limited to provide Multi Disciplinary Services (MDS) to Alcoa’s Wagerup Refinery.

AGC has worked with Alcoa for over a decade, executing a range of maintenance and support works across Alcoa’s three refineries throughout Western Australia, including the calciner maintenance contract.

The Letter of Intent positions AGC for the provision of the full range of mechanical, electrical, scaffolding and associated minor capital works which is due to commence in October. The initial contract agreement will extend for the next 5 years.

The Multi Disciplinary Services contract award which is in final negotiations will be announced imminently.
