AusGroup Announces Organisational Change

The Board of Directors of AusGroup Limited (the 'Company') wishes to announce that Mr James Finbarr Fitzgerald ('Jim') who was an Executive Director responsible for the Group's Business Development, Marketing and Proposals departments has relinquished his executive role with the Company on 31 December 2008 on the expiry of his service agreement.
The Company is also pleased to announce that Jim will remain on the Board as a Non-Executive Director, to continue to provide his wealth of experience and knowledge to assist the Board in overseeing the Group's ongoing innovation and capital development strategies for the operational aspects of the Company.
Chairman Mr Koo Soo Keong paid tribute to Jim as the founder, 20 years ago, of the original family company Ausclad Industries Pty Ltd which has evolved into AusGroup Limited.

Jim said he was looking forward to being freed from the day to day demands and being able to take a higher level independent overview within the Board.
