Karara Iron Ore Mine - Early Works Contract

Scope of Work AGC's scope of work will consist of structural, mechanical and piping installation works at the company’s iron ore process plant. The Early Works contract involves all mechanical disciplines, scaffolding, rigging and procurement of piping for the main contract which is currently being negotiated. The main contract is expected to be valued in excess of AU$200 million. Mobilisation to site will commence in April 2011. Mobilisation to site commenced in April 2011.

   
  Cloudbreak Iron Ore Mine Expansion - Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) Contract

Scope of Work The contract has been awarded to the Cloudbreak Enhancement Project Team (CEPT), of which AGC is a part, and represents the first significant engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) opportunity pursued with JV partner Kiewit. The AGC Kiewit partnership, KAGC Joint Venture (KAGC) has partnered with engineer AMEC Minproc to form the CEPT.
The ECI contract is effective immediately and is scheduled for completion in June 2011. The project provides CEPT with a reimbursable contract to conduct the EPC planning activity necessary for the securing and execution of an EPC contract at the existing Cloudbreak ore handling plant.
   

RGP5 Yandi Operations

Scope of Work Structural, mechanical, piping, heavy haulage and heavy lifting of the Rapid Growth Project 5 at the Yandi mine site. The scope includes construction of an Ore Handling Plant 3 consisting of a coarse ore stockpile and conveyor systems; fabrication of 3,500 tonnes of conveyor components; and transportation of 38 structural modules - ranging from 100 to 345 tonnes - from Port Hedland to the Yandi mine site, located 140km northwest of Newman in the Pilbara region. Completion is expected in 2011.

   
  Pluto LNG Project

Scope of Work Contract consists of two elements: Site A Mechanical Erection (including Jetty Mechanical Work) and Site B Mechanical Erection – Trunkline Offshore Terminal.
AGC's scope of work includes the mechanical works associated with the installation of structural steel and process piping, installation of mechanical equipment, pre-assembled pipe racks, modules and structures, testing of pipework and associated activities related to the Pluto LNG process facility.
An additional contract was awarded to include the construction of an Effluent Treatment Plant which includes the installation of equipment and pre-assembled package units, piping and structural steel work.

Cape Lambert Port A Sustaining Works Project

Scope of Work The contract comprised of the implementation of a replacement iron ore product screen building located at Cape Lambert in North Western Australia. The scope of work included the fabrication and construction of a new product screen building including two double deck screens, feed and discharge conveyors and associated transfer station consisting of 840 tonne of structural steel, platework, conveyor systems and installation of 150 tonnes of client supplied mechanical equipment.  The project also included modifications to the existing plant to incorporate the new structures.
 

 

Newman Hub Loco Prep

Scope of Work AGC was awarded the Newman Loco Prep Facility Project as a result of the successful execution of the Jimblebar Vertical Package Contract, near Newman in Western Australia.  The scope of work included the supply, fabrication, erection, installation and commissioning of structural steel, mechanical equipment, piping and electrical components for a new Loco Prep Facility.

   

Newmont Boddington Gold Expansion Project

Scope of Work The Boddington Gold Mine expansion project is the largest project in scale that AGC has executed to date. AGC's scope of work consisted of the Fine Ore Bin, Screening, Ball Milling and Classification and the interconnecting conveyors from the secondary crusher and stockpile.

Scope of Work AGC provided the construction personnel for the execution of the installation and pipelay work onboard the client’s derrick lay barge. This included installation of the Blacktip wellhead platform jacket, topside and piles fabricated by AGC.
