Scope of Work AGC was awarded the contract to manufacture pipe spools for the Gorgon Project, one of the world's largest natural gas projects and the largest single resource natural gas project in Australia’s history. The scope of work covers receiving material, fabrication, storage, coating and testing of 19,000 pipe spools of various diameters, weighing approximately 7,500 tonnes. AGC will utilise its fabrication facilities in Kwinana and Henderson to accommodate the future growth of the Gorgon Project throughout construction.

Scope of Work AGC are currently executing the preassembly of 9 modules at AMC which on completion will replace the current Flare Tower at Site B of the Pluto LNG Project. AGC will assemble, spot paint and survey the modules before loading them onto the transportation barge. Once complete, they will be shipped in three installments, with each shipment containing three modules. Each module is significant in size being approx 16m (L) x 12m (W) x 12m (H) and weighing approximately 120 tonnes.

Halyard Wing Deck

Scope of Work Fabrication, fit out, preparation for transport and offshore hook up of the new three level modular wing deck to the John Brookes topsides. The cumulative weight of the three level modular wing deck along with its equipment is approximately 92 tonne. The fabrication of the respective modules per level will be carried out at our Kwinana operations with final assembly through to testing and loadout occurring at AMC in Henderson. Post onshore delivery, the AGC team is required to be offshore for the integration of the three level modular wing deck onto the John Brookes platform and the tie ins of the different systems.

Scope of Work AGC was awarded the contract for the supply, fabrication and assembly of a twin cell car dumper and two positioners from Metso Minerals in March 2010. As part of BHP Billiton’s Rapid Growth Project – Stage 6 (RGP6) the car dumper will be located at Nelson Point in Port Hedland, Western Australia and delivered in August 2011.

Scope of Work AGC is contracted to Transfield Worley to provide fabrication and procurement services associated with the maintenance activities. AGC scope of works includes all gas producing assets that Woodside manage and includes the Karratha Gas Plant, Goodwyn ‘A’ Platform and the North Rankin ‘A’ Platform. The associated works encompass a mixture of maintenance, small, medium and largesized projects designed to extend the life of the assets.

Worsley Efficiency and Growth Project Pipe Spools

Scope of Work In December 2008, AGC was awarded a piping contract by Bechtel as part of the $1.9 billion BHP Billiton Worsley Efficiency & Growth Project. The pipe fabrication consists of carbon steel pipe ranging from 50mm NB to 1200mm NB with a small portion of 316 Stainless Steel. AGC is undertaking approximately 15% of the overall scope which is equal to 135,000 diameter inches of welding from 14km of pipe.

Pluto LNG Project - Temporary Living Quarters (TLQ)

Scope of Work The fabrication, assembly and full commissioning of the Temporary Living Quarters (TLQ) module for the Woodside Pluto LNG Project. The TLQ module weighs 650 tonnes with oval dimensions of 14m wide x 26m long x 18m high.
After only four months the TLQ module was successfully loaded-out onto the barge on 18 December 2009.

Scope of Work AGC was awarded the contract for the supply, fabrication, assembly, electrical & instrumentation, painting, pre-commissioning and load out of the Blacktip offshore wellhead platform including topside, jacket and piles weighing approximately 2,800 tonnes. AGC was involved with the project from the engineering stage to facilitate fabrication methodology and sequences. The erection sequences for the platform were simulated using a 3D model before shop drawings were prepared. |

The XENA Tee spools are required to be welded, non-destructive tested, hydrotested and insulated to DNV specifications. Additionally, AGC is required to design, fabricate and test a lifting and transport frame for the XENA Tee assembly.
